The Headshot Process

  • Tell us your team size, timeline and location. We’ll get back to you right away with a custom quote.

  • We’ll provide a scheduling template, wardrobe guidelines and hair and makeup booking coordination if needed.

  • We arrive, set up in under 30 minutes, and keep things moving and low-stress.

  • Each image will include natural retouching, plus we include the option for individual preview galleries so each team member can select their favorite headshots.

  • If you onboard a new hire after shoot day or someone is out sick, we can head back to your office for a mini shoot or host you in our studios in Sausalito or Berkeley. This provides headshots that are consistent across the team as you grow and evolve, so you never have to start from scratch.

Larger teams (50, 100, or more) are typically a full day, however we can split across two days if needed to minimize disruption to your office or bring a second photographer to work twice as fast. Smaller groups of 5–10 people can often wrap in under 90 minutes.

    A few things affect the pace: whether you're adding executive portraits, group shots, or lifestyle content, whether hair and makeup is on-site and how your office is laid out for the setup. We'll give you a realistic time estimate before booking based on your specific situation.

    For companies fitting headshots into an offsite or company all-hands, we're used to working within a set window. Give us the slot you have and we'll design the session flow around it, whether that's two hours before lunch or a dedicated afternoon block.

    The individual time per person is usually 5-10 minutes, which is enough to get several good options without it feeling rushed. For executives or anyone getting additional looks, we build in extra time so there's no pressure.

    For standard team headshot deliveries, our typical turnaround is 2–3 weeks from shoot day. That includes individual preview galleries for each team member ( so everyone gets to select their own favorite shots rather than having one person choose for the whole team), plus final retouching and delivery of the full edited library.

    For larger teams of 50 or more, we can stagger delivery so department heads or executives get their photos first, with the full team following on the standard timeline. If you have a board meeting, investor presentation, or website launch with a hard deadline, tell us upfront and we'll work backward from that date.

    Rush delivery is available for executive portrait sessions as well, including same-day turnaround in certain cases. For founders doing back-to-back press ahead of a raise or launch, that kind of speed can matter.
